A Greenways Reflection

A light moment on the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail   (submitted by Stan, a Greenway Steward)

Today, I had a good giggle and a big smile.  As I was walking along the Greenway in Bellevue, I was crossing the park road walking toward the track and noticed what was either a young girl or mature woman dancing and sliding on the a long patch of ice. As I got closer I realized the mature woman had a headset on and was listening to music while dancing on the ice.  As I approached she kept on dancing moving her arms and having a wonderful time.  I acknowledged her and she lifted her headphones and said "I am sliding on the ice like I did when I was a child".  I smiled and suggested she be careful and walked away with a huge grin. The moment was light, happy and uplifting.  Almost as good as seeing a fox in the wild.
